Could you please advise how I would be able to get two separate files for the recorded screen and video.

Hi Ming,
It depends on what format you choose to record your files in. However, in both Real and WMV cases, the files are all there.

In Real, the A/V file is the rm file, and the Screen File is a .sc file.

On windows Media, we produce an _av.asf file that I believe is just audio and video. And also in this case, we have a .sc file which is the screen file. All of these files are located in the folder that saved your project file.
