Hi Randy,
We discovered that on some systems, this can happen. There may ba quick way to fix this: 1. Go to the control panel, then services and start up the Optx Display Capture service. If this starts up, then, reboot and try bringing up SW Producer again. If it does not start, then the problem is because of missing dll for the MFC foundation classes (version 7.1). We are doing a fix for this that should be out this week. It seems that some service pack 2 installations did not get updated with the latest MFC dll's. Thanks, OPTX Support |

If this helps, this machine was loaded with the windows XP SP2 cd, so the service pack was not loaded seperate. I am looking forward to trying the new version as my service wouldn't start, and will keep an eye out. Thanks!

Hi Randy,
Thanks it does help. Our assumption was that the 7.1 version of the mfc libraries were loaded with sp2, but now we find that is wrong. So on the next image we'll include them in the release.... Thanks, OPTX Support |
