Can I still use the launchinsta.exe with the -w mpsetup.exe -wp wmplugin switch to install the new versions of:
-ieswplay.ocx
-swplay.dll
I am making a CD version and would like to keep it a silent install.

Yes you can and should still do this. If you want the correct installation parameters you can create a CD image (using the producer), then set up a publish destination. It will write the autostart.inf file and copy the appropriate plugins down to the CD image folder for you.

(Under the Volume 1 folder).
