Hello there,
I read extensively the material on your site and would appreciate your answers to my questions. I am very interested in your software. 1 Do I have to have a webcam installed on the computer I intend to install your software for it to work, even if I only want to use your software for screen streaming? 2.Which winnov card do you recommend for me, if I wish to use only one channel and seek to enable fast action screen streaming? I have two computers: xpx64 bit computer and a Windows Vista one. 3. I am interested in your software because it can do live webcasting, I intend to use it to webcast live through www.ustream.tv. Will it work? Will you agree to allow me a few days to try the live webcasting upgrade before I buy it? 4 What happens if I installed your software on a computer that crashes or, I wish to change later on, can I reinstall it on a different computer? Or is it possible to use the software from an external hard disk thus allowing me the option to use any of my computers, but only one at a time under one license? PLease comment if my Windows vista with ATI Radeon HD 3870 card could be enough to work with your software or I should still buy the WInnov one? Which of my computers do you recomend I use with your software: 1- Windows Vista 32 bit 4 GB RAM Intel(R)Core(TM)2Quad CPU Q6600 2.40GHz OR 2- Windows XP Professional x64 bit Service Pack 2 Processor Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU 5130 @ 2.00GHz RAM 8192 MB Neither computer has a webcam installed now. I have a broadband internet connection I need your answers to make a decision and before downloading the trial version. I hope it can work out, I am ready for the technological challenge! but also need you help. Kind regards, Ron |

Hi Ron,
Sorry for the delay in resonding... Lot's of travelling going on here... I'll answer your questions below: 1 Do I have to have a webcam installed on the computer I intend to install your software for it to work, even if I only want to use your software for screen streaming? You do not have to have a video camera attached. The software lets you choose to have video, or just audio with your screen recording. 2.Which winnov card do you recommend for me, if I wish to use only one channel and seek to enable fast action screen streaming? I have two computers: xpx64 bit computer and a Windows Vista one. If you are just recording from your office or home, I would encourage you to get a logitech webcam (I think the Pro 4000/5000 series). If you are setting up a smart classroom, you may want to look at the winnov or osprey cards. Either one's will work as long as you match them up with your particular OS. 3. I am interested in your software because it can do live webcasting, I intend to use it to webcast live through www.ustream.tv. Will it work? Will you agree to allow me a few days to try the live webcasting upgrade before I buy it? The trial software does have live webcasting on. However, I looked at that site and it appears that it requires flash streaming. There are sites to do host live webcasting for Windows Media. 4 What happens if I installed your software on a computer that crashes or, I wish to change later on, can I reinstall it on a different computer? You are always able to move, or reinstall licenses. You will need to email to get a license request key and then we'll issue the new license to you. Or is it possible to use the software from an external hard disk thus allowing me the option to use any of my computers, but only one at a time under one license? ScreenWatch cannot work from an external hard drive because it installs a "mirror" driver that does the screen recording. So you'll need to put it on a single machine. However, you could always install it on a laptop that is portable. (That's how I use it). PLease comment if my Windows vista with ATI Radeon HD 3870 card could be enough to work with your software or I should still buy the WInnov one? We are almost finished with our windows vista port of ScreenWatch. Currently, the download only supports XP in 32bit mode. We have ported to 64 bit Vista for the next release (as well as 32 bit Vista). It will still be several months before an official release is out though. I have a broadband internet connection Again, Sorry about the delay in responding. I hope this information is helpful to you. Best Regards, Brian Meyerpeter |
