I have to install the plug in for 500 + computers because like most other companies, we do not allow users to have administrative rights of their desktop. We use Microsoft SMS to install to company comptuers. I have downloaded the wmswplugin_cd.exe plug in; completed a .iss file for silent distribution and packaged the software. I get result =-3 even though the setup.iss file is in the same directory. If you use -F1 to the response file; the same result. I even used the -v" /qn" with no luck.

So far I am very disappointed with this product. An enterprise view of deployment is necessary. Installer should simply work with silent switches through products such as SMS, LANDesk, Zenworks, etc

I believe we have a standalone .msi file for installing plugins on a mass scale. Please send email to support@optx.com and I believe we can give you the location for the .msi file download.

Am I correct that a standalone msi will work with SMS?
