I would like to know how to transfer the file/software to another computer. I installed the software in one computer, but now we need to move it to another computer and take it out from the old one.

Thanks.

Hi Pedro,

I also saw your email at our service email. You are eligible for a free version 6.0 upgrade. You should download that upgrade and then send in the license activation request on your new computer. We can then license it for you.

Thanks,

Hi,

I have SW 5.6, everytime my client PC installs the SW applet 1.0.0.4, they get an error 1628 after successfully downloading and just as it completes the installation. The Presentation do not run, the link opens and all they get is a blank Ready Video BOX without ppt. No buffering happens.

Downloading third-party applets under Windows Service Pack2 has always been a problem even after allowing, dissabling security and accepting all content.

Please Advice

Hi,

This can be because of a failed previous installation, or someone physically removing the files. Here is what you should do to fix this:

1. In explorer, navigate to /windows/Downloaded Program Files.
2. Look for ieswplay.
3. If it is there, right click and specify uninstall or remove.
4. Navigate to /windows/system32
5. Find a file called swplay.dll and then remove it.
6. Go to where your screenwatch presentation is located and and go through the update for the plugin process (where it prompts you to install).

If this does not work, you may also download and install from our download location the windows media plugin.

Hope that helps,
