Hi, I am taking a blackboard class with lecture movies. I have Verizon DSL and am using Windows Media 11. I have downloaded the plug-in and can run the movie but I'm not getting any sound. Do you have any suggestions? I have tried downloading the fixes on www.screenwatch.com, updating windows, even going back to my original version of windows media (10). Version 9 is no longer available to download. I have even tried downloading a codec package and nothing has worked. Help! Thanks.

You probably have your audio muted, or there may be a problem with your speakers? Or, the content you are watching doesn't have good audio?

Please try watching some content on the windows media site. Do you get any audio this way? If not, then it is probably a setting on your PC.
